On this day, the Campus was filled with warmth and nostalgia as the whole batch gathered for a farewell extravaganza. The Director, Hon’ble Prof. Dr. Yamini Agarwal sent her best wishes to all students for their future endeavors. BVIMR farewell Party: 13/04/2024 Department of Law at BV (DU) – Institute of the Management & Research, New Delhi- On April 13, 2024, a farewell party was arranged for the LLB final year students. Hon’ble Director Prof. Dr. Yamini Agarwal in her opening speech, emphasized the significance of the farewell. She stated that farewell is a wonderful opportunity to say goodbye to friends, and as we all go from one stage of life to the next, we frequently reflect on what we leave behind. Our past golden memories inspire us to go forward and teach us how we can improve our development. Life just ebbs and flows, with natural beginnings and finishes, and farewells are just a part of dealing with change. She praised the junior students for organizing the wonderful celebration with good planning. Its purpose was to emphasize and provide critical insight to students & other audiences into India’s economic progress, social development, environmental sustainability, and other factors required for a developed nation. BV(DU)’s Office of International Affairs: BV(DU) and University of South-Eastern Norway have joined hands for Student Exchange Program In a quest to foster international collaboration and cultivate cross-cultural learning experiences, Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University) in Pune has initiated a Student Exchange Program in collaboration with the University of South-Eastern Norway. The program, set to unfold from April 11th to May 9th, 2024, aims to facilitate academic and cultural exchanges between the two esteemed institutions. Spearheaded of Prof. Dr. Kirti Mahajan, Director of the Office of International Affairs at BV(DU), and with the enthusiastic support of Dr. Bhagyashree Jogdeo, Principal of the College of Nursing, Pune, along with Dr. Veena Sakhardande, Associate Professor, and other dedicated staff members, this initiative underscores the commitment of both universities to providing enriching educational opportunities for their students. Embarking on this journey are four postgraduate students from the University of South-Eastern Norway—Ms. Linn Eirin Angelsen, Ms. Marita Porsmyr Ørpen, Ms. Stine Myrvold, and Ms. Martine Kristin Topaas Billington—who have arrived in Pune. MARATHON 2024 - Run for Cyber Crime Awareness - BVIMR New Delhi BV(DU) - Institute of Management & Research (BVIMR) held a MARATHON 2024-Run for Cyber Crime Awareness on March 30th, beginning at 7.00 a.m. and lasting 3.5 kilometers, under the direction of Hon’ble Director, Dr. Yamini Agarwal. Winners received awards. Three key dignitaries graced the award ceremony: 1-Mr. Akshay Rastogi, Assistant Commissioner of Police (Crime) Branch, Delhi Police. 2. Ms. Joyce Villaume from School of Ayurveda and Consciences, France visited BV(DU)’s Office of International Affairs on 1st April 2024. A fruitful discussion happened in between them about new projects - Yoga eLearning, Ayurveda Internship and Panchkarma. Tribute to an Eminent Jurist, Padma Vibhushan Adv. Fali Sam Nariman by Dept. of Law at New Delhi The Department of Law atBV(D U) - Institute of Management & Research (BVIMR) organised on March 29, 2024, a tribute event to Legal Luminary, Eminent Jurist & Senior Advocate ‘Padma Vibhushan Mr. Fali Sam Nariman’ (1929-2024), the Guardian of Constitutional Democracy & Secular India. Under the guidance Hon’ble Director, Prof. Dr. Yamini Agarwal, this event was arranged to honor & express thanks for the inspiring life, and contributions by Mr Fali S. Nariman & be motivated by the Law students to pursue a brilliant career in the field of law. The event began with a guest reception, followed by the presentation of a documentary including Hon’ble Nariman’s achievements, and interviews.
